Can I eat chocolate?


Can I eat chocolate?  Yes of course you can.  However, bear in mind that the cheap stuff from the supermarket is high in sugar and high in fat and will not help you to banish cravings or lose weight. 

Instead choose the good quality dark chocolate that is high in cocoa solids and lower is sugar and fat.  However, to help you keep your blood sugar level and keep cravings at bay just enjoy a couple of squares a day.


Sugar causes food cravings which makes weight management difficult.  Recent research shows that sugar may be as addictive as cocaine - more here. 

However, who eats just sugar!  The real culprit is processed food.  Processed food is stuffed full of sugar and is unhealthy - more here.
